Jean Fajadet, EAPCI Past President and Chairman of the 2016 Nominating Committee
Next year, the EAPCI will be holding elections for the three key positions within our organisation, namely the EAPCI President, the EAPCI Secretary and the EAPCI Treasurer for the 2016-2018 term. The 2016 Nominating Committee has received approval from the EAPCI Board for the following electoral schedule.
From September 2015, the EAPCI will commence an e-campaign with an announcement and a call to all national societies and working groups for applications for these three positions. The deadline for candidate applications has been set for November 2015. Hereafter, the Nominating Committee will review and approve the candidates based on predefined selection criteria and the collection of letters of endorsement for the candidates. The outcome of these deliberations –the final selection of candidates– will be announced in January 2016.
EAPCI members can cast their vote for the three executive positions on a specially developed e-platform from 1 to 29 February 2016. Finally, the results of the elections will be announced during the EAPCI General Assembly at EuroPCR 2016.
The call for candidate applications is open to all EAPCI members and must be accompanied by an official endorsement from the President or Chairman of their National Society or Working Group. On behalf of the 2016 Nominating Committee, we look forward to this exciting and very important process, one that will define the future of our organisation. We also wish all prospective candidates the best of luck in the campaign.
