Welcome to London for the 10th edition of the world’s largest course focused on the exciting field of transcatheter therapies for valvular heart disease. Throughout the last decade, the course has evolved and expanded considerably, with a dynamic interactive programme provided by a global world-leading faculty and constantly renewed in response to invaluable feedback from over 2,500 course participants. Since the beginning, our constant purpose has been to provide the community with teaching and useful tools to improve the treatment of our patients affected by valvular heart disease.

As is the spirit of all PCR courses, this year PCR London Valves will offer participants a unique opportunity to learn basic and more advanced techniques, while discovering the latest clinical research and technological innovations in the field. Indeed, the course is a perfect mix of didactic and interactive sessions, live cases, new technology demonstrations and late breaking trials.

The EuroIntervention PCR London Valves supplement embodies the spirit and content of the meeting, including highly comprehensive review articles authored by some of the world’s key opinion leaders in the field and tackling some of the “hot topics” in the field of transcatheter heart valve therapies. This year’s supplement has been divided into four sections, “Structural Interventions”, “Aortic Valve Interventions”, “Mitral Valve Interventions”, and “Tricuspid Valve Interventions”. We are certain that this volume will provide a comprehensive source of knowledge to guide your daily clinical activities back home.

This supplement would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation and support of many extraordinary colleagues and friends who have shared their knowledge and experience. Our gratitude also goes to Patrick W. Serruys and the Deputy Editors of EuroIntervention, for hosting this 2018 PCR London Valves supplement once again, and ensuring that it mirrors the interests and direction of the Course itself.

On behalf of the valve community, we thank you.
