EuroIntervention is an international, English language, peer-reviewed journal whose aim is to create a community of high quality research and education in the field of percutaneous and surgical cardiovascular interventions.
EuroIntervention is the official Journal of EuroPCR and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).

A total of 18 issues are published annually both in print and electronic formats.
All content available on the website is reviewed by an editorial board prior to online publication. The scientific content is peer-reviewed and validated by our editorial board of Experts before online publication. Once approved by the editorial board, the content is dated but not updated. As regards the members’ comments, they are reviewed following which the editorial board adds an expert comment online.
EuroIntervention offers peer reviewed original research to the readers. The Journal publishes clinical research articles, expert reviews, consensus papers, guidelines, special reports, short reports, editorials, and images (interventional flashlights). All of these articles are reviewed by the editorial board and selected expert reviewers in Interventional Cardiology. The review process of EuroIntervention is a single-blind peer review process.
EuroIntervention has also published first reports on data from blinded trials, studies on technical innovations and hands-on practical.
While the foundation of EuroIntervention is clearly European, the outlook is international, focusing on the cutting-edge future of the speciality. EuroIntervention is one of the few journals entirely dedicated to this work and as such welcomes and encourages the participation of surgeons and peripheral interventionalists. To date, EuroIntervention has 8.826 subscribers which of 83% are interventional cardiologists.
The online edition of EuroIntervention includes access to previously published issues, a wide range of ahead-of-print material and EEP’s (Expedited Editorial Publication), as well as educational videos that supplement the print journal articles.
EuroIntervention has over 40,000 estimated readers.
