Multivessel PCI for STEMI guided FFR or angiography

FLOWER-MI
Objective
to investigate whether FFR guided complete revascularisation compared to angiographic guided revascularisation results in better clinical outcomes (FFR<0.80 is clinically relevant)
Study
investigator-initiated, open-label, multicentre randomised trial
Population
patients with STEMI, who had undergone successful PCI, and multivessel disease (>50% diameter stenosis) in at least one non-culprit coronary artery
Endpoints
composite of any death, MI or urgent revascularisation at 1 year
Conclusion
in patients with STEMI and multivessel disease undergoing complete revascularisation an FFR-guided strategy was not better than an angiographic-guided strategy
