Indobufen or aspirin in addition to clopidogrel after PCI

OPTION
Objective
to assess the clinical efficacy of indobufen-based DAPT (indobufen 100mg twice daily + clopidogrel 75mg daily for 12 months) as compared to conventional DAPT (aspirin 100mg daily + clopidogrel 75mg for 12 months) after PCI
Study
multicentre, randomised trial (non-inferiority)
Population
patients with negative cardiac troponin undergoing DES
Endpoints
composite of cardiovascular death, MI, ischemic stroke, stent thrombosis BARC bleeding (types 2,3,5) at 1 year
Conclusion
indobufen based DAPT compared to conventional DAPT was associated with a lower incidence of adverse events during 1 year after PCI
