Extra corporeal life support infarct cardiogenic shock

ECLS-Shock
Objective
to investigate whether early routine extra corporeal life support (ECLS) treatment would improve survival in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock compared to medical therapy alone
Study
investigator-initiated, multicentre, open-label, randomised trial
Population
acute myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock and planned early revascularisation
Endpoints
any-cause death at 30 days
Conclusion
