3. Stents for left main stem and bifurcation lesions

Double Kissing Crush vs. provisional stenting for left main stenosis

DKCRUSH-V: 3 years
Objective
to report the 3-year clinical outcome of double kissing crush stenting versus provisional stenting (PS) for unprotected left main distal bifurcation lesions (UPLMb)
Study
multicentre, randomised study
Population
patients with ischaemic symptoms or myocardial ischaemia and Medina 1,1,1 or 0,1,1 de novo UPLMb lesions
Endpoints
TLF as composite of cardiac death, target vessel MI or clinically driven TLR at 3 years
Conclusion
provisional stenting for unprotected left main distal bifurcation lesions was associated with increased MACE rate at 3 years as compared to double kissing crush treatment
