to investigate whether expedited delivery to a cardiac arrest centre, compared to standard care in emergency department would reduce deaths in patients with resuscitated cardiac arrest
Study
investigator-initiated, multicentre, randomised trial
Population
spontaneous circulation after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest
Endpoints
all-cause mortality at 30-days
Conclusion
expedited delivery to a cardiac arrest centre of patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest did not reduce 30-day death rate compared to treatment in emergency department
