EAPCI 2021 - Consenting in interventional cardiology

EAPCI Survey - Informed consent

Europe-wide survey on informed consent for interventional procedures to assess variations in informed consent practices across ESC member countries

Processes surrounding obtaining informed consent for percutaneous cardiac procedures are a critical element of the care we provide to our patients. Interestingly, there appears to be significant differences in how patient information is shared and how consent to undergo procedures is documented, with variations from institution to institution, region to region and country to country. The aim of the EAPCI consent questionnaire is to survey the landscape of consent processes across Europe and beyond in a spirit of collaboration. Our goal is to share experiences, appreciate differences, and investigate what learnings we can take from the practice of colleagues in other regions or countries. We would be most grateful if you could take two to three minutes to complete this survey so that your voice is heard.

Access the survey here and answer before the 1st of September, it will take only 5 minutes!
